More outside time

The weather is great today. Blue skies and 70, nature is calling us
to come out and play!

Weekend Visitors

We had a great time with our friends from Orlando.  The weather was amazing, and we were able to go down to the beach and play in the back yard for hours!  Here is Lincoln enjoying some Tummy Time in the back yard on his quilt.  I am so glad the days are warm, so we can play out there!

Reading is fun

Bath time fun

Lincoln loves the bath. It is the cure all for crying! Hopefully he
will like the swimming pool too.

We told Lincoln that he was going to have to start sleeping more at night.  He did not take that very well.....

What a day!

The weather could not be any nicer. 70 degrees with not a cloud in the
sky. Lincoln and I were testing out our new chair cushions.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Here is our lucky little Leprechaun!  Since it is St. Patrick's Day and Lincoln hates to be pinched, he is wearing all sorts of green.  His diaper, his shirt, pants too!

I hope you all get some corn beef and cabbage!  Ours is cooking now in the crockpot and will be ready soon.
Yes the crockpot!  I am conquering it one meal at a time!

Outdoor adventure

Well you might not be able to tell from this first picture, but we took the quilt outside under the tree and played. Lincoln had a good time, then fell asleep.  It was about 70 degrees. The boat tailed grackles were chatting in a nearby tree, and the fighter jets were flying high above.  We call that the sound of freedom... Lincoln did not care, once he was asleep none of those wonderful outdoor noises were going to wake him up!  The outdoors really seems to calm him down, I guess that is good since we love to be outside any chance we get!

Daily Routine

As we all know reading is important even for the youngest babies.  So part of our daily routine is to do a little tummy time with books as entertainment.  Who needs plastic toys that take away your imagination by doing all the playing for you!  So we spend our days with books and rattles.  Lincoln seems to really enjoy his reading time.  He does also like music so we play all sorts of music in the house throughout the day.   From Sinatra to Laurie Berkner, our itunes library plays all day before repeating.

Sweet dreams

As we drive back to Shalimar, Lincoln has sweet dreams of his vacation
on Mt. Dora.

Outside

We love to be outside. We spent some of nap time on the back porch.
