Construction Site!

The cake was a hit.  Though the details of the trucks and barricades were much more interesting than the eating of the cake!  Which was fine with us.  Mess making was fun for Lincoln, when he moved around all the "sand" that we put in the dump trucks!

Happy Birthday

What a fun birthday.  We brought out his presents (he got 3) and he was able to enjoy each one and move on to the next one at his pace.  He sat for about 20 minutes with one before moving on to explore the next one.  It was great to watch him examine each new toy.  He had a cupcake after dinner and seemed to enjoy it.  I think....

15 Seconds of Fame?

Well, it does repeat every few minutes!  We could not resist having Lincoln's First Birthday up in lights on the community marquee.  We had to get a picture, of course.
